Smarter-than-ever Samsung gadgets

The Samsung Galaxy Tab, the South Korean electronics giant’s answer to the iPad, is due to go on sale in the US on Nov 11, retailing at US$600 (RM1,859). The Galaxy Tab, which is powered by Google’s Android software, features an 18cm touch screen—smaller than the iPad’s nearly 25cm display—and supports Adobe’s Flash video software, which is barred by Apple from running on the iPad. The Galaxy Tab also features front- and rear-facing cameras. The iPad does not have a camera.

If you are looking for a gift for the older boys in your life, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab may be just the ticket. It’s a version of the iPad with a few more bells and whistles. Give it a look and see if it will make a great gift for boys
